Ziggy Alberts is a coastal folk singer/songwriter, free surfer & environmental enthusiast from the East Coast of Australia. Picking up a guitar for the first time in 2011, Ziggy took to storytelling through his music immediately and 5 years on has developed a standout independent career grown initially on busking, house shows and all-ages events, all while living out of a van.

Ziggy Albert’s record label engaged Drive Digital to produce a Shopify website for three main reasons; to showcase his upcoming shows, to sell his merchandise and to allow users to connect and keep up to date in Ziggy’s life.
An easy to update platform that engages users
- Created an easy to update store interface so Ziggy’s record managers can continuously add new merchandise
- Built and intergraded a MailChimp module to capture fan information for marketing purposes
- We improved the site load time and increased the video quality
- Customised video functionality that can be easily updated with his latest music by his marketing team
Keeping it simple yet effective
We wanted Ziggy and his music to do all the talking. With his latest music video being the immediate focus, we quickly remind users why they’re on his site and indirectly encourage tickets and merchandise to be purchased. We developed this website in conjunction with Ziggy’s album release strategy.
